Nikki Beach Resort Koh Samui:-The trendy and modern Nikki Beach Resort is one of Koh Samui's hottest hotels and party spots. Located right on a private stretch of beach in Lipa Noi, on the island's western shore, the lively luxury resort was completely renovated in early 2014, and has two pools, one of which is open to hotel guests only. Additionally, every villa and suite in this resort has its own plunge pool set in a private garden, making the property well-suited to couples seeking seclusion. Throw in a very cool spa in the heart of the jungle and you really have a superb stay. Just note that the small pool and restaurant sit right next to the beach and are hopelessly crowded -- quite the departure from the rest of the place.
The Haad Tien Beach Resort:-The Haad Tien Beach Resort is not just the best upscale pick on Koh Tao, it's the only upscale pick on Koh Tao. It's also the only resort on the island's most beautiful beach, but the remote locale means there is no village within walking distance, and the resort takes full advantage of this by charging relatively high prices for food and drink. The rustic-luxe, bungalow-style villas have plenty of romantic appeal, and the lush, sprawling property dotted with coconut palms has a chic, ocean-view swimming pool and a (pricey) spa. Pavilion Samui Boutique Resort:-Located right on Lamai Beach, one of Koh Samui's most popular destinations, Pavilion Samui Boutique Resort is a beach hotel surrounded by tropical gardens, with 70 modern rooms and villas, beachfront dining, a private pool, and a full-service spa. Lodgings are spacious and Thai-inflected, all with private patios and soaking tubs, and higher-tier villas come with private plunge pools and beachfront views. Koh Tao Bamboo Huts:-The Koh Tao Bamboo Huts are set in a gorgeous location, right on a small white-sand beach. Bungalows here come with outdoor showers and some have their own pools. Decor is typical of the Thai islands and features lots of bamboo as well as canopy beds with mosquito nets. There are a few dining options, including the romantic Starlight, a dinner spot with beautiful sunset views. Visitors should be prepared to do a lot of walking, as the resort is spread out and getting from spot to spot often requires steep trudges.
Thavorn Beach Village & Spa:-Thavorn Beach Village & Spa is an old-school, four-pearl hotel built on one of Phuket's only private beaches. The location is a short drive from party-central Patong Beach, but the vibe at the Village is laid-back and focused on nature and families. The freeform swimming pool is a large draw, as are comfortable rooms and cottages with direct access to the beach. Elephant-figurine lamps, pink floral paintings, and white furniture look like they belong in a cottage in New England, and give off a charming vibe. The semi-outdoor bathrooms, however, have a much more tropical vibe with enormous rainhead showers and bowl sinks.
First Bungalow Beach Resort:-First Bungalow Beach Resort is a large, mid-range property on Chaweng Noi, a pretty beach with far more sand and space than the bigger Chaweng Beach just to the north. The 174-room resort offers access to some restaurants and shops, and bright rooms ranging from standards with free Wi-Fi and minibars, to Beach Bungalows steps from the sand. Other features include a large swimming pool, happening beach, beach and poolside bars, and a restaurant. The resort draws long-term repeat visitors, and is famous for being the first-ever resort in Samui.
Sabai Beach Resort:-Sabai Beach Resort is a simple and charming, mid-range getaway spot on a quiet beach. Those looking to party should keep in mind that the property is far from the regularly-scheduled Full Moon Party, and there isn't much to do as the venue has no real facilities other than a small beachside restaurant. However the location is peaceful, not far from the ferry pier, and the bungalows do sit right on the sand. Overall, the Sabai is a safe choice for families and couples, and won't break the bank.
