Bounce Bangkok

Bounce Inc. Bangkok is an action-packed trampoline park and climbing centre located on the top floor of The Street shopping mall on Ratchada. The huge space is a delight of children and teens and is open to everyone aged three and older (young children require adult supervision). With 5,600 sq. m of space to play in, there are trampolines of all kinds: some have padded walls so you can practice your Park Coeur flips and jumps, others are slanted at a 45 degree angle, others land into a crash mat so you can attempt crazy tricks without even the slightest worry of getting hurt, and there is also a section with basketball nets so you can slam dunk for some impressive photos.

BOUNCE5

Bounce Bangkok runs on an hourly basis, so make sure you are ready to enter the action right on the hour. The brightly coloured activity hall is amazing fun, but one of the things surprised us – trampolining is an incredible workout! The lungs and legs will be tested, but it’s so much fun you probably won’t realise until the hour is over (or when you attempt to walk up a flight of stairs the next day). Each section is looked after by staff who can advise you on how to improve your skills, but even first-timers will find themselves bouncing high into the air straight away.Bounce Inc. is originally an Australian company and this Bangkok branch is their second foray into Asia. They have ensured that all of the safety constraints found in their home branches are present here too. Despite trampolines capable of bouncing players several metres into the air, it is very difficult to harm yourself inadvertently because of the thick padding surrounding every surface. Parents who would rather watch than take part can sit in a central viewing area overlooking all the fun, which offers a great vantage point to take photos and keep an eye on everything.

BOUNCE

On a number of nights throughout the year, Bounce Bangkok dim the lights and pump the music for a club-like experience, including DJs mixing EDM and house music. The second section of Bounce Bangkok is called Clip ‘N’ Climb, another franchise but this time from New Zealand. Is a bright and funky climbing area with a range of colourful walls and climbing frames to test your skills. Experienced climbers might find it a little easy, but anyone looking for an introduction to climbing will have loads of fun on any of the 24 different climbing challenges. Full safety harnesses are provided. There is also a super slide to play on, but with a vertical drop its not for the faint-hearted. One hour in the trampoline park or the climbing park costs 490 baht per hour for adults and 390 baht for children under the age of 12 (children must be at least 3 years old to play). Entrance to each section must be purchased separately so if you want to experience Bounce Inc and Clip ‘N’ Climb Bangkok you will need to buy two separate tickets. Bounce customers will also need to buy special grip socks at 85 baht, but it’s a one-time purchase as customers can use the same socks next time they come to play.Trampolining is the hottest workout trend for 2016. Following the arrival of San Franciscan Rockin’ Jump in 2015, this year sees the even bigger arrival of Australia’s Bounce Thailand.

BOUNCE1

This trampoline park claims to be the Asia’s biggest jumping spot at a size of 5,600 sq meters on the fifth floor of The Street Ratchada. Here you’ll find the Bounce Fit zone for exercising, Mini Bounce for kids, and the Free Jumping zone for simply having some fun on huge trampolines and practicing some pro moves.Prices start from B390 per 1 hour (B290 for kids). Minimum age allowed is three years old and maximum weight of 120kg. BOUNCE is a world where the wall becomes the floor, a slam-dunk is within your grasp and the rules of gravity no longer apply. It’s packed with lots of things to do with kids and the family, it takes the rush of getting airborne and adds a bunch of new dimensions – from aerial manoeuvres to slam dunking, wall running and dodgeball warfare. The best part is it doesn’t matter if you’re under 5 or an action sports junkie in training – you’re never too old or too young to have an awesome time.
With more than 100 interconnected trampolines housed within huge, colourful spaces at a growing number of locations around the world, BOUNCE is a spring-loaded urban playground with a wide range of things to do with kids; where hard surfaces are replaced with circus-grade sponge, giant air bags and springs.

BOUNCE3

The rush of BOUNCE is infectious. Look around and everyone’s buzzing, whether they’re running up The Wall, launching into the Big Bag or loosening up in the Free Jump arena. It can be as easy or as challenging as you like – a training ground for aerial sports acrobatics, a place to kick back and look out over the action, or just a hard-core form of exercise that lets you burn energy without noticing you’re in the middle of a cardio workout. And our friendly staff are always there to offer safety tips and show you a few moves along the way.
